Time to Think also guarantees you of your sweet ticket price deal today by placing your booking on hold for up to 21days for bookings made offline and 72hrs for bookings made online either through the
website or the mobile app.

Important:
- Time to Think charges are per passenger.
- Time to Think can be purchased for bookings done anytime up to 24hrs before departure.
- Time to Think is applicable to all our flight bookings made either online or offline through Kenya Airways offices.
- Time to Think is non-refundable with the exception of flight cancellations necessitated by Kenya Airways.
- Once a Time to Think purchase has been made to an original booking and the customer makes a change of routing the same ticketing time limit will apply.
- Time to Think is non-transferrable.

1. What is Time to Think?
This is a functionality that has been created to help our customers extend their ticketing time limit by giving them more time before they pay for their ticket/s.

2. When is Time to Think Applicable?
This only applicable to bookings which have been booked on Kenya Airways operated flights. Not applicable on Codeshare/Interline flights.

3. How does time to think work?
It is an extension of the original ticketing time limit and when a booking cancels and one would wish to extend a second time it will not be possible.

4. How do I purchase Time to Think?
Once you have made your booking online or from any of the Kenya Airways Ticketing offices, you may select the option of Time to Think and proceed to the payment of service.

5. Can I buy Time to Think for an online booking?
Yes, you can purchase Time to Think for a booking that has been made online either through the
website or the mobile app before you end the booking.

6. When can I buy Time to Think?
Anytime up to 24hrs before departure.

8. Will I be able to purchase Time to Think through a Travel Agent?
No, Travel agents are not activated to purchase time to think.

9. Is Time to Think accessible by Frequent Flyers?
Yes. All Kenya Airways customers including the frequent flyers can purchase time to think

10. How is Time to Think charged?
Time to Think is charged per person.

11. Can I purchase Time to Think for a group booking?
Yes. It is possible to buy Time to Think for a group booking. It is charged per person.

12.Does Time to Think apply for Ancillary Services i.e. Chargeable Seats?
No. Time to Think only protects the flight/s booking. As for ancillaries, they have a separate issuance time limit which is not affected by Time to Think.

13. If I go to the airport, can I purchase Time to Think from there?
Yes. Only if it is within applied window for purchase. More than 24hrs to departure.

14. Will my new ticketing time limit after purchasing Time to Think change when I make a date change?
Yes, it may change if the booking is within the applicable Time to Think window but if it is less, it will not change.

15. If I change my routing, will I get a new ticketing time limit if I had purchased Time to Think?
No. Once you purchase time to think on your original booking and later, make a change of routing the same ticketing time limit will apply

16. When a flight is cancelled and get rebooked to a flight operated by another airline will I get a refund?
Yes. We shall offer a refund for Time to Think in the event of a flight cancellation and we rebook you on a different airline. This will be done through the normal refund process from issuing office.

17. Will I get a refund for Time to Think in case I cancel my booking before it auto cancels?
No. Time to Think is non-refundable and can only be refunded in the event of a flight cancellation necessitated by Kenya Airways.

18. What form of payments can I use to pay for Time to Think?
You may use any form of payment acceptable on the Website or Mobile App and any of our Ticketing offices i.e Credit cards, Debit cards, M-pesa, Airtel Money, Paypal, Cash etc.

19. Can I transfer my Time to Think to another booking?
No. Time to Think is not transferrable.

20. Does an Infant pay for TTT?
No. Infants do not occupy a seat hence will not pay. However, if an INF has been booked as a child, then they get to pay for TTT.
